Introduction
WorkoutCopy is developed by Arthur KUEHN. WorkoutCopy is a utility app that reads your Apple Health workout data and copies it to your clipboard so you can paste it into spreadsheets, notes, or messages. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Data We Access
WorkoutCopy requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types:
- Workouts
- Heart Rate
- Active Energy Burned
- Basal Energy Burned
- Step Count
- Swimming Stroke Count
- Running Power
- Cycling Power
- Cycling Cadence
WorkoutCopy only reads this data. It never writes to or modifies your Apple Health records.
How Your Data Is Used
Your health data is used solely for displaying workout information within the app and formatting it for clipboard export. All data processing happens locally on your device. Your health data is never transmitted to any server.
Data Storage
WorkoutCopy uses in-memory caching only. Your health data is held temporarily in memory while you use the app and is cleared when the app closes. WorkoutCopy does not persistently store your health data on disk, in databases, or in iCloud.
Third-Party Sharing
WorkoutCopy does not share your data with any third party. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks in the app.
Advertising and Tracking
WorkoutCopy contains no advertising. There is no behavioral targeting, no analytics, no data mining, and no user tracking of any kind.
Data Retention and Deletion
Since WorkoutCopy only processes your data in memory, there is no persistent data to delete. When you close the app, your health data is no longer held by WorkoutCopy.
You can revoke WorkoutCopy's access to your health data at any time by going to iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices and removing WorkoutCopy's permissions.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings
- Choose which specific HealthKit data types to share with WorkoutCopy
- Contact us with any questions about your data
Children's Privacy
WorkoutCopy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
HealthKit Data Guarantees
Your health data is NOT used for advertising or data mining.
Your health data is NOT stored in iCloud.
Your health data is NOT shared with third parties.
Your health data is NOT sold.
